B.A. in Culinary Arts is a 3-year graduate degree program. Culinary Arts, builds on students’ existing culinary competencies and experience to deepen and hone practical, leadership and business skills.

Eligibility Criteria for B.A Culinary Arts
1. The candidates who completed 10+2 in any stream.
2. Candidates must have a minimum of 50% marks in all three years combined to be eligible for admission.
3. Candidates must have done undergraduate from a college or a university which has been recognized by UGC i.e. University Grant Commission.
4. Candidates should have secured a minimum aggregate score of 45% or more in subjects.
Admission Process
1. Colleges publish notice of admission on their website from June when most Indian universities would have finished degree exams.
2. Candidate to apply for each college, as each college considers each mark the cut-off mark.
3. Some private colleges and deemed universities perform their counselling process by conducting their university-level entrance exams.
4. Some colleges require a minimum of 50% aggregate in the qualifying examination.
5. Candidates who qualify for the test are called for an interview before the final seat allotment.

After completing this course candidates are hired in capacities such as Sous Chef, Cooking School Instructor, Cooks and Assistants, Food Scientist, Kitchen/Culinary Manager, Food Stylist, Catering Manager, among others.
The average salary of a chef can be in the range of 3 lacs to 8 lacs per annum. The payout can be increased as per the expertise and skills.
